Hi - I'm Jess!

My interest in photography stems back to high school when I would spend hours in a darkroom developing film photography. There is a magic in watching the image develop on paper and I was mesmerized by it.

As I moved into my first professional career, I had the opportunity to explore and train in more technical aspects of photography. Again, I felt mesmerized by the role light plays and how you can manipulate it to create and stir up emotion when viewed in print.

 

When I'm not behind the camera, I'm pouring into my family - my husband, Kyle, and our three daughters, Coven, Everly and Henley. Our girls are currently homeschooled and sometimes get to enjoy the adventures of my job as well as picking up the camera. As a family, we enjoy breeding and racing quarter horses and soaking up the peace and quiet our little ranch has to offer.
